Making low phone battery a thing of the past!

Wattspot launch - Conors at Media Cube

IADT Applied Psychology student Conor Nolan and IADT Entrepreneurship student Conor McGowan have launched a new website for WattSpot at the Media Cube, IADT. WattSpot supplies a solution for consumers with mobiles whose batteries are running low. Wattspot provides free phone charging facilities across the country and is now available in establishments such as Insomnia Coffee Company, Topaz and independent businesses across Ireland. The new WattSpot site features a map with WattSpot locations so customers can track down the nearest charging point. The site was created by digital marketing agency Castle33, founded by IADT graduate Eoin Dixon Murphy.

The founders have also recently secured a spot on Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers Programme, which has seen the WattSpot HQ locate to the Media Cube on IADT’s campus in Dun Laoghaire. Speaking about New Frontiers Nolan concluded, “It’s exactly what we needed and we are grateful to everyone involved for the opportunity. Really exciting times ahead!”

The new site is available at www.WattSpot.ie.
