SeeSearch – the search technology developed by Dr Hilary Kenna at IADT – secured a high profile beta tester recently when An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD trialled the solution while launching the 2014 Action Plan for Jobs at the Wayra Academy in Dublin. Under the watchful eye of Dr Kenna and co-promoter, David Garvan, An Taoiseach made the most of SeeSearch to conduct some light-hearted searches on his Cabinet colleague, Minister Richard Bruton.

SeeSearch uses cutting-edge technologies to search multiple databases and repositories and present the results to the user in an innovative visual format. Dr Kenna and David Garvan formed IADT’s first spin-out company, Vizolve Ltd, to commercialise the SeeSearch technology. The company has secured investment from both Enterprise Ireland and Wayra.
