Bgate is an online order-capture and invoicing system that connects buyers and suppliers at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods.
Bgate provides your company with all the efficiencies and cost savings of doing online business without having to build and manage your own system.
Bgate automates the transfer of data between your system and your supply-chain partners system without the need for double and even triple entry.
Business Model
Bgate is an on-demand service. Clients only pay for what they use. There are no up-front capital costs and no hidden charges. No new hardware, software or IT capabilities are needed, all you need is web access.
Suppliers pay a nominal transaction fee for every order processed on bgate (no matter how big or small).
For buyers, order-capture and online invoicing is free! For a monthly subscription fee, buyers and buying groups can upgrade to our tailored service to access live customised reports 24/7 and export all suppliers’ invoices straight to their in-house accounting system.

History
Founded in 2004 by Simon Lunt and Tony Rhatigan, Bgate has processed over 80,000 orders worth over €70MM without error.

Some of Bgate’s customers include: Allied Foods, Burger King, Johnson Mooney O’Brien, Eddie Rockets, Dawn Meats,
Haagen Dazs Cafes, Omniplex Cinemas, ISS Facilities Services.

Former product manager with CBT Systems, Simon left CBT in 1995 and co-founded Riverdeep which became Ireland’s
largest ever NASDAQ floatation with market cap high of $2bn. Simon is a bachelor of science graduate of Limerick
university and NCAD where he studied Industrial Design.

Tony Rhatigan has served as a director of a number of public companies listed in London, Vancouver and Toronto and
has extensive international experience. He has been chairman of listed property, mining, mineral exploration & production companies. Prior to holding these positions he had successfully developed his family business which was involved in stone quarrying, asphalt manufacturing, construction and property development in Ireland.
